This lens had come and gone with the F2.
There were three versions of this lens. The first one appeared
in 1972 and numbered from 200111. The second version was multi-
coated and numbered from 200201. The third version was modified
to accept Ai bodies and numbered from 200301.The first and the
second version both made less than a hundred. Several hundred
third version was made.
When I got this lens, it was without a fork mount AY-1.
I asked Nikon and they said they have it and I bought it new.
It's in 1998. That's the Nikon Way.
