The "Sapporo" Nikkor-H 300mm f2.8

Nippon Kogaku introduced their first ED lens (and their first 300/2.8)
in late 1971 for the comming 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympic Games.
Only 72 were produced and handed to qualified press photographers
and used mostly for shooting the jump and indoor events.
The lens has no ED designation but its formula is identical to the
later Nikkor ED 300mm f2.8 (604 series) lenses produced for the next
Winter Olympics exept for the later muti-coating.

This lens was intended to use with the High-speed F motor drive deve-
loped at that time. That's the reason this lens has no automatic diaphragm.
