There is an intersting story behind this camera.
When Taron 2 appeared, Topcon accused them of copying the Topcon 35S,
Taron excused that they didn't meant to copy. When they planned a new
camera, they ordered a new body to a die-casting factory. The factory
also manufactured Topcon body casts and they recommend Taron people a
cast which was Topcon 35S's design.
Taron's reply sounds just an excuse because it is too much similar
to the Topcon 35S.

Another interesting thing is the lens on the Taron 2 camera.
It is a Tamron 42mm F1.9. Probably the first production Tamron lens
bearing the Tamron name.
