Tokyo Kogaku introduced the Minion 35 in 1948 as thier brand new
post war cameraproduct in 24x32mm format known as Nihon size.
But this size didn't work with automatic mounting device for
Kodacolor films then popular in their major market< the U.S.
Thus the format was banned by the GHQ of the allied force.
Later the first Minion 35 was called Minion 35A, the 35B had
shutter release button on the body but still in Nihon size format.
The 35C was modified to standard 24x36mm format.
All had TOKO lens in Seikosha shutter.
THe production ceased short to concentrate on TLR production.
Strange enough, several cameras contemporary in 1948 adopted
24x32mm format independently. Such cameras are Olympus 35 I,
Nikon I, and Minolta 35 I (first model).
