It's the seventh month of the year 1999. The great King of Angolmore
haven't descended yet. We're lucky we still alive.
BTW, there were ( and still are) a lot of cameras bearing 7s in
their names. The seventh in a series means it's a quite successful
series. The Canon 7 and Alpa 7 are such cameras.
Some manufacturers just like to name there camera a 7.
Though quite popular and successful, Minolta SR7 was not the seventh
in their SR range. Their first and very successful Alfa 7000 was
their first auto focus SLR camera. They had more sevens in their
range (and still hve X700 and Alfa 7xi?).
Petri was another manufacturer fond of sevens. And Ricoh too is.
Also Fuji has many point and shoot type cameras with sevens in their name.
Does a seven in the name really bring them luck?

１９９９年７月になりましたが、アンゴルモアの大王はまだこないようです。:-p
というわけで今月は名前に７の付いたカメラです。シリーズで７まで続いた
カメラは大成功といえるでしょうが、単に７という名前が好きだったメーカー
もあったようです。ペトリやミノルタはその代表でしょうか。
いや、ミノルタが成功しなかったというわけではないですが。
