Here are the cameras with solar batteries.
Ricoh tried two times without much success.
Ricoh XR-S in the '80s (L) and XR Solar in the '90s (R).
In the back is the Canon Autoboy SE (solar energy?).
It's an auto focus point'n shoot type.
Some say the solar power produced from the cell is
deficient to power all of the functions.

BTW I step back and think all the older cameras
with selenium light meter are'nt solar cameras?
